The Great Commission

Colossians 1:24-2:7 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

24 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I [a]do my share on behalf of His body, which is the church, in filling up what is lacking [b]in Christ’s afflictions. 25 Of this church I [c]was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, so that I might [d]fully carry out the preaching of the word of God, 26 that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His [e]saints, 27 to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 28 We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man [f]with all wisdom, so that we may present every man [g]complete in Christ. 29 For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His [h]power, which [i]mightily works within me.

You Are Built Up in Christ

For I want you to know how great a struggle I have on your behalf and for those who are at Laodicea, and for all those who have not [j]personally seen my face, that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth [k]that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I say this so that no one will delude you with persuasive argument. For even though I am absent in body, nevertheless I am with you in spirit, rejoicing [l]to see [m]your good discipline and the stability of your faith in Christ.

Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so [n]walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established [o]in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing [p]with gratitude.

Matthew 28:16-20 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

The Great Commission

16 But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. 18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 [a]Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you [b]always, even to the end of the age.”
